📌 Synopsis:

Forty-two light-years from Earth, a frozen planet patiently awaits the day it can become a new home for humanity.

For seven hundred years, Terraforming Station 117-G has worked beneath the ice of HD 40307g . There, surrounded by machines, androids, and artificial intelligence, only two human beings keep the mission alive.

Adrian Vassiliev has just turned twenty. He was born and raised on the station and has never known Earth. His only human companion is Elena Bright , a fifty-year-old commander who has been his mentor, his superior, and practically his entire social universe.

But a geological anomaly leads Adrian to files he should never have found.

He then discovers that the station holds secrets far deeper than an impossible ocean beneath kilometers of ice.

Its very existence is part of a protocol designed centuries ago to solve the most unpredictable problem of all: human loneliness.

Because technology can control an atmosphere, build a colony, and keep a station running for centuries.

What it hasn't yet managed to control is what happens when two human beings are left alone.

Not even artificial intelligence can write a manual for that.

After more than six hundred years of isolation, the inhabitants of Erebus are still human... though they no longer live, think, or feel like the inhabitants of Earth.

When the Federation ship HMS Erebus arrives on the planet to deliver technology capable of expanding the gigantic subterranean cities of the Hypogea, Phillip Bardell , its pilot, meets Ruth Galanis , a geologist born and raised beneath tons of rock in this strange society.

What begins as a technical mission slowly transforms into an encounter between two different ways of understanding humanity.

For the Hypogean Ruth, the body is a tool, personal relationships have a function, and decisions belong to the community. For the Earthling Phillip , there is leisure, friendship, kindness... and that strange feeling that Earthlings call love.

As they both try to understand each other, they will discover that perhaps the greatest distance between the two worlds is not measured in light-years, but in what each society considers necessary to be human.

When several residents pool their money to hire Mara Vale, the investigator accepts a case that pits her against Atmos Systems, the company in charge of distributing the city's air. Without evidence and surrounded by silence, she must infiltrate the corporation's most exclusive circles, where she meets Thomas, an executive who seems very different from the men she expected to find.

As she uncovers a web of corporate decisions where human lives are reduced to mere financial calculations, Mara will understand that some of the guilty parties were also victims of the very system they now protect.

In a city where even oxygen has an owner, justice doesn't always consist of destroying the powerful. Sometimes it's enough to make them breathe the world they themselves built.

In the near future, Daniel Vega, a meteorologist specializing in extreme weather, survives a strange electromagnetic accident during an ultra-high magnetic field experiment. After the incident, he begins to hear impossible voices.

As the planet slowly descends into irreversible climate collapse, Daniel discovers that the voices belong to a Galactic Confederation trying to warn humanity before the final disaster. But no one believes him. Becoming the eccentric "weather guy" for a small rural television station, his messages are dismissed as the ravings of a broken man.

When the Confederation realizes that telepathic contact alone is not enough to change humanity's fate, it sends an extraterrestrial observer to infiltrate human society. Her mission is to decide whether Earth still deserves to be saved... or whether humanity must face the consequences of its own choices.

But what begins as an observation mission slowly transforms into something more intimate and dangerous.

As storms grow more violent and the world begins to crumble under toxic rain and rising oceans, two beings from different worlds will discover that even in the face of the end of a civilization, there can still be something capable of giving meaning to existence: love.
