Creative Workshop 2025: "Introduction"

The Creative Writing Workshop is back!
(And yes, it's still free)

The last Creative Writing Workshop I shared with you was way back in 2020. Times of pandemic, absurd lockdown, and politicians saying things no one understood. I did it to help novice writers dodge the obvious and find more creative ways to tell stories.

That old workshop, written in a hurry and with more passion than planning, had several interesting ideas and, above all, some tricks that helped me write without depending on the famous "
inspiring muse ."

Because here's an uncomfortable truth: " professional writers don't depend on inspiration ." Inspiration is capricious, lazy, and appears whenever it feels like it. Writers who manage to finish projects don't wait for the muse to come to their door: they " sit down and write ."

And we don't work on just one project at a time. Intimidating? Not at all. Writers have techniques for everything: stimulating our creativity is perhaps " the hardest part ", but it is possible. But hey, if you've already read my articles, this is nothing new.

So let's get to the point:   Why another Creative Writing course? To start with, " because it's still free " (like the previous one). But this time I'll do it with more structure and new topics. Among them, one that can generate panic reactions: " the use of Artificial Intelligence in writing " (the horror of purists!!! hahaha 😀). I will also talk about " what you really need to be a 21st century writer ".

Do you write as an amateur but don't "know how to take the leap" ? Do you have a desire to write ? This is the place for you. 👀

It's time to leave behind the idea of the hermit writer, disconnected from the world, who writes as if we were still in the 19th century. Today, dynamic, multilingual, agile, motivating, brief and, above all, entertaining texts are needed .

Oh, and as I mentioned before: the course will continue to be free. If enough people are interested, I will set up a WhatsApp channel to answer questions and talk about the craft of writing in a professional, simple and personal way.

No writer should be intimidating. No writer should give negative opinions of their peers. I have seen too many egos in my life to realize that, if you want to become a writer, the first thing you need is motivation . And the second, to know from the beginning what your strengths are , not your defects . Working on strengths always leads to eliminating defects. NOT the other way around .

So, my friend, if you want to improve your writing , tell stories that engage your readers , and learn how to navigate this world of letters and algorithms … I’ll be waiting for you in the 2025 version of my course.

Do you have questions? Do you want to expand on these topics?

If you are interested in expanding on these topics, I recommend that you read my articles for writers. There you will find many interesting topics that will help you become a 21st century writer. Here are my notes for writers (use the google translate button - for no-spanish writers-) 🌌✍️

Do you have any questions? You can ask me -in english too- through a google form. Use the "Tu Consulta" button, please:

Good writing! 🚀✍️
