Story: "Futuristic Western - Red Dune"

Futuristic Western

Red Dune

By Rodriac Copen

Synopsis:

On the forgotten frontier of the planet Touclap, where law is a distant memory and faith is sold to the highest bidder, Red Dune survives amidst dust, rust, and imposed silences. In its grimiest saloon, Lyria Vance—a solitary hunter with a past that refuses to heal—searches for a fugitive preacher who turned an entire colony into fanatics using a forbidden artifact capable of subjugating the human will.

The man didn't just steal money and consciences: he left behind broken lives, unwanted children, and a death Lyria has never been able to forget. When they clash, the conflict ceases to be a simple hunt and becomes an ethical dilemma in a world where official justice doesn't exist and technology serves both to control and to awaken.

Red Dune is a gritty and melancholic futuristic western, a frontier tale where dust holds memories, faith has a price, and revenge isn't always fired with a gun.
