It all begins when an impossible seed germinates in the absence of light in the Svalbard Global Ark, emitting an electromagnetic pulse identical to that recorded beneath the archipelago's glaciers. The discovery, which should have been merely a botanical anomaly, becomes the first piece of a much deeper puzzle.
Over the course of ten episodes, as whiteouts, unspoken romantic tensions, and dangerous missions force them to rely on each other, Erika and Markus discover that Svalbard is not just an icy landscape: it is an artificial ecosystem created by a non-human intelligence buried in the permafrost.
As cutting-edge science pushes the boundaries of the inexplicable, Erika and Markus find themselves caught between what they discover and what they feel. Their bond evolves silently, under the weight of a greater truth: The Arctic isn't dying. It's responding. And its pulses are no accident.
An extraterrestrial intelligence has been evaluating Earth for millennia... and climate collapse has triggered its final protocol. The central question is not what humanity will do. The question is whether humanity is ready to listen.
