BackStream
Saga of SciFi, Espionage and Conspiracy
SYNOPSIS:
What if time wasn't a line... but a battlefield?
Morgan Cross , a former intelligence agent with a troubled past, is recruited by Echo Division, a secret agency that has mastered dangerous time-reversal technology. Through Project BackStream , Morgan travels to different eras of history, not to change the past... but to prevent others from doing so first.
From the Italian Renaissance to the Cold War, Morgan
faces enemies operating in the shadows of time, discovers alternate
realities, and encounters versions of herself she shouldn't have met.
But she soon realizes that the greatest threat doesn't come from the
past... but from the future.
As she carries out her missions, Morgan uncovers clues about a set of secret files known as " The Phantom Files
," which document unauthorized time-travel interventions, covert
historical manipulations, and experiments with the very flow of time.
The trail leads her to confront a disturbing truth: Echo Division is not what it claims to be. As the pieces fall into place, Morgan must make a crucial decision: protect the lie... or unleash the truth, even at the risk of triggering a temporary war.
The
official story speaks of DARPA, Project Pegasus, and teleportation
experiments inspired by Nikola Tesla's findings. Partially declassified
documents and testimonies like Andrew Basiago's seem to confirm that,
since the 1950s, the United States had been experimenting with
space-time portals. What was never revealed was that these programs were
not under the control of the US government, but rather of a secret
faction known as Echo Division.
Echo
Division was born in the shadows after Eisenhower's meeting with the
Greys in 1952. It answered not to the Pentagon or Congress, but to an
invisible alliance of military, corporate, and non-human interests. Its
mission was not to maintain the balance of power, but to silently
rewrite history, shaping time to benefit a much darker project: the
subjugation of humanity's future through secret pacts with
extraterrestrial intelligences.
At
the center of this puzzle are Morgan Cross and Adrian Blake. She, a
former US agent scarred by failure and guilt. He, a British agent sent
as backup, ends up being both her partner and her lover. United under
the banner of the Echo Division, they initially believe they are serving
a noble purpose: protecting the timeline and preventing other saboteurs
from altering history. But soon, amidst contradictions, absurd
missions, and suspicious silences, they begin to notice cracks.
The key discovery comes with the Phantom Files, a collection of hidden documents that prove:
The Echo Division was never an official part of the U.S. security apparatus.
That the 1952 pact with the Greys was not political, but a calculated surrender of human sovereignty.
That
Morgan and Adrian's missions—in Sarajevo, at the secret 1952 meeting,
on Mars, in first-century Judea, at Gettysburg—were not aimed at
protecting history, but at forcing it in directions convenient to the
Division's dark interests.
From
disciplined agents, they become time fugitives. From covert lovers,
they become partners in a silent war. Morgan and Adrian must not only
survive the labyrinthine nature of each mission, but also expose the
Echo Division and reveal it to the world. Their ultimate goal is to
protect lawyer Alfred Webre, the only one capable of presenting evidence
to the UN and revealing to the world that time travel, teleportation,
and alien pacts are not fiction, but the greatest conspiracy ever kept
secret.
Thus,
BackStream becomes a saga that blends espionage, conspiracy, and
science fiction, weaving together real accounts of hidden military
projects with the personal odyssey of two agents who, torn between
loyalty and love, discover that the true enemy lies not in the past… but
in the shadows of the present.
